Worker Registration Scheme - Why Register? Leaflet PDF Print E-mail
The New Migrants Action Project at Positive Action in Housing has produced a new leaflet and poster for A8 nationals (people from Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia) living and working in Scotland, explaining the benefits of registering with the Worker Registration Scheme.

The leaflet is called Worker Registration Scheme - Why Register? It is currently available in English, Polish and Czech and will soon be available from this website in other languages. Please note, the Worker Registration Scheme is likely to end in May 2009, 5 years after the A8 countries joined the EU, but until then it’s important that A8 nationals register so that they are able to access welfare benefits and housing and homelessness assistance.
