Course Content:
PAiH has recently been involved in producing new guidance on tackling racial harassment. To complement this work, this training course looks at issues around racial harassment and how to tackle them in detail, with practical examples.
The course will assist participants in being able to determine the difference between racial harassment and anti-social behaviour, and why a separate if related approach is necessary. It will also help participants to understand the local context, along with national guidelines and the legal framework for dealing with harassment.
Relevant policies and procedures will be explored and used in case studies so that participants gain confidence in dealing with harassment in a practical and supportive way.
Attendees will receive course notes and a ‘model’ approach and procedure that can be customised to participating organisations.
