Course Content:
To Complement our recently published guide ( Best Practice Recruitment and Selection Procedure), this training course is concerned with exploring how to ensure your approach to employment is fair and equitable, benchmarking your organisation against others.
Issues addressed will include expanding the pool of potential employees; looking at how you select staff fairly; exploring how you can make your organisation more attractive to potential employees; and considering how you work to develop and get the best out of your staff: in short, helping your organisation become an employer of choice.
The course will include looking at practical examples, case studies and the legal implications. It will help to build you and your organisation’s confidence to be effective and reflect best practice in this area. The course will take account of all the equality areas and the relevant issues, including race and ethnicity, disability, gender and age.
Attendees will receive course notes and a copy of our recent publication.
