Equality Action Planning Workshop - Developing & Implementing your Approach
Course Outline:
This course assists you to develop equality and diversity practices in your organisation. You will work through the key elements to develop an equality action plan that is a vital part of an organisations service delivery. You will create a SMART action plan that will help you focus your ideas and decide the correct actions you need to take to achieve your 'outcomes'.
Who should attend?
This course is particularly relevant to people working in public and statutory organizations, social work, housing, welfare, education, employment, health, community development or the justice system.
Course Outcomes:
By the end of the day you will:- Be aware of the key pieces of legislation relevant to your area of work
- Be able to create an effective action plan with equality at the core
- Be equipped to effectively review and update your organization's policy and practice
