Trainer Profiles
Suki Sangha
Suki Sangha is the training officer specialising in equality & human rights issues. She has completed her Masters Degree in Equality and Human Rights from Glasgow University. As the training officer Suki is involved in all aspects of the training service including the training needs analysis of organisations. Whilst studying for her Masters, she also gave her time to mentoring, training and encouraging young people to access further education. Suki is also a leading Human Rights and Anti- Racist Campaigner.
Iain Chisholm
Iain Chisholm is the project coordinator of the New Migrants Action Project at Positive Action in Housing. The project promotes equality of rights, opportunities and access to support for new migrant communities. Iain began working for PAiH in 2006 as Caseworker in our Casework Advisory. He previously worked as an Asylum Support Officer with the Scottish Refugee Council. Iain works at a grassroots level with Scotland’s new communities and combines his knowledge and experience with practical advice and training on new migrants.
Zandra Yeaman
Zandra Yeaman is a member of Positive Action in Housing specialising in equality & diversity issues and is an experienced trainer. She was previously a Trainer with Citizens Advice Bureau and has been actively involved in social policy and research. As our previous training manager, Zandra has been involved in our training department for the last 3 years, including the designing and delivery of the courses. She has assisted organisations with BME action plans; equality impact assessments and practical advice on how to manage equality & diversity within organisations.
Other Associate Trainers
To accommodate our busy training department Positive Action in Housing has a diverse network of associate trainers. All our trainers are highly experienced and knowledgeable in the topics they train. We work closely with our trainers and importantly, they are aware of the challenges, the background and practicalities of the subject areas of the training.
