As the year ends
24 December 2023
Thousands of people have placed their trust in Positive Action in Housing’s fearless humanitarian work since we started over 28 years ago, turning to us in moments of crisis and uncertainty.
Hundreds of individuals, charitable trusts, social housing providers, education, fire and trade unions, now power us financially – keeping us open to all, and fiercely independent.
Positive Action in Housing often responds to emergencies without funding in place. Just the determination and passion to help human beings resolve a crisis, rebuild their lives autonomously with hope for the future.
We’ve created new projects which have helped people and dominated the headlines. For example, the Room for Refugees Hosting Network, Emergency Relief Fund, and our Refugee and Migrant Housing Projects help people to live in safe, affordable housing, increase their financial well-being and settle successfully.
We are always free from political influence, leaving us free to build trust, find out what’s going on, and demand answers from those in power, whoever they are.
Our services are completely free, and aim to support, inform and empower those in their greatest time of need. We do this because we believe in finding out first hand what’s going on from those most affected. Greater numbers of people can do more to help themselves.
Our supporters understand what we are doing and are often inspired to take meaningful action. Every contribution, however big or small, powers our humanitarian work and sustains our future.
If there were ever a time to join us, it is now.
Support Positive Action in Housing's humanitarian work from as little as £10 - it only takes a minute. Regular donations help us to plan life saving interventions.
