If you or someone you know is destitute (or about to be made destitute), we offer the following services:
Mondays 9.30 am to 11.30 am (except bank holidays).
A Scotland wide service for destitute refugees, asylum seekers or anyone e.g. a friend or caseworker, supporting someone in this situation. Ask for the Destitution Helpline on 0141 353 2220 and you will be put through to someone who is trained to give advice over the phone about a destitution situation.
Tuesdays 2 pm to 4 pm & Thursdays 10 am to 12 noon
A busy Glasgow based appointments only surgery for refugees and asylum seekers who are destitute, about to be made destitute or about to be evicted from Home Office accommodation. Call 0141 353 2220 and you will be put through to someone who can make an appointment for you or the person you are trying to help. Alternatively, email the full circumstances to email@example.com. Note: please do not turn up at our office without a prior appointment.
Outwith Office Hours – Scotland wide
We are a small team and have limited capacity to assist outwith office hours. In such a case, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the name(s) of the person(s) affected by destitution, and that of any dependents along with mobile number, address and full details of the emergency circumstances and how you need us to help. We have a UK wide network that we can rely upon to assist.
Hosted Shelter and Crisis Support

We will accept referrals from paid Caseworkers who have an account on the REFER system – a fast online system for arranging emergency last resort safe shelter with our refugee hosts all over Scotland and the rest of the UK . For more info click here .
