£2000 raised for our charitable work by Glasgow Caledonian’s Wellbeing Walkers
1 May 2026
Last weekend, a team of twelve incredible supporters took part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk, raising a massive £2,000 for Positive Action in Housing's charitable and humanitarian work.
This year, Glasgow welcomed 20,000 Kiltwalkers raising £4.3 million plus for 1,111 Scottish charities, of all sizes. Our team, Wellbeing Walkers, from the Glasgow Caledonian University Student Wellbeing Team bravely stepped up to tackle the Mighty Stride. Over the course of the day, our team covered an impressive 23 miles and raised a fantastic £2,000 in total.
The team noted to us about their experience, "We are very grateful to have raised money for such a brilliant charity!"
Funds raised through incredible efforts like this make a real and lasting difference. They help organisations like ours continue to provide essential support to vulnerable people, ensuring that those who need it most can access emergency, housing, and financial support at critical times. We are so grateful for the team’s commitment, energy, and generosity. Thank you for going the extra mile for us and for the people we support.
