Event information

The Kiltwalk is one of Scotland's largest fundraising events with over 172,000 people taking part since 2016. By participating and fundraising for Positive Action in Housing in 2025, you can make a difference in the lives of some of the nation’s most vulnerable groups, by enabling us to find stable accommodation for, bring justice to, and improve the welfare of asylum seekers and refugees. So grab your friends and family, and make it a day out for a good cause!

All walks begin or finish in one of Scotland’s major cities with routes for all abilities so that no one is left behind. Wanting a calm, leisurely walk that does some good? Choose the Wee Wander (~3 miles). If you want to get your sweat on and improve your step count, the Mighty Stride (23 miles) could be for you. Or if neither sounds quite right, try out the Big Stroll (14 miles).

The Kiltwalk is also the lowest-cost fundraising event in Scotland. Entry for the walks will only set you back £20 and for the Wee Wander, it's a reasonable £13 for an adult and £7 for the little ones.

You Could Win…

…ANY Car from Arnold Clark worth up to £30,000! To enter for a chance to win, all you have to do is sign up for the Kiltwalk. In Glasgow this year, Arnold Clark is also kindly gifting a car to your chosen charity in addition to one for you. So not only do you get the chance to do some incredible fundraising with a fun day out, but you could get a brand-new car out of it. How great is that?

Fundraising is easy! All you have to do is go to the Kiltwalk website and select your city and the day you want to walk. You will then be prompted to fill out a form, make sure you choose ‘Positive Action in Housing Ltd’ as your charity. The online fundraising platform, JustGiving, will then automatically create a Kiltwalk online fundraising page for you. You can customise your page with photos, a fundraising target, a personal story, and even connect a fitness app of your choice. Simply share the link with friends and family, ask them to donate and you’re off to a flying start! If you didn’t spot it during Kiltwalk registration, check your email inbox for an activation link that will have been sent to you.

The Kiltwalk is not always a walk in the park for everyone, and neither is fundraising, which is why our committed Fundraising Officer, Olivia Sykes, is here to support you. If you have any questions or need help understanding more about what we do, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by emailing olivia@positiveactionh.org.

As a Positive Action in Housing fundraiser, you will also receive a free, snazzy-branded T-shirt to wear as you train and of course during the Kiltwalk. So, you can support us in style!
