Over time, Twitter X has changed in ways that no longer align with who we are or the work we do.
Virulent racism, hate and xenophobia are now widespread and increasingly normalised.
At the same time, changes to reach and algorithms make it harder to communicate accurately, responsibly and effectively with the communities we support. Might and verbal abuse is rarely right.
As a small NGO working alongside refugees and migrants, we have a responsibility to act in line with our values. Solidarity, justice and anti racism are not just slogans.
Twitter X is no longer a suitable home for us. It has not been for quite some time. We will continue our work and our public communication on BlueSky at positiveactionh.bsky.social.
