Our Emergency Relief Fund provides crisis grants for food, clothing and shelter to help children, women, and men who are facing severe hardship due to poverty or homelessness. Annually, we distribute over £100K. When crisis strikes, the Fund means we are prepared to respond quickly, making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.

Pauline McNeill MSP is making a sincere and admirable call for annual visits to Dungavel. However, unless these are unannounced , MSPs will simply become part of the PR of a prepared visit. The compliant detainees will be brought out to meet the delegation. Meanwhile, the suicidal ones, the self harmers,…
